Celebrating Coach Mallette: Illinois Sportsmanship Award Ceremony

On February 4th, our very own Coach Christopher Mallete was honored with the Illinois Treasurer’s Office Sportsmanship Award!

He was awarded for "Outstanding Achievement in Sportsmanship" at the Black History Month Celebration hosted by Illinois Treasurer Michael Frerichs. The event took place at the Office at the State of Illinois Building.

We are very proud of Coach Mallete, who has led the football team in great success for the past 7 years. No matter the outcome of the season, he shapes the souls of the young student-athletes with intentionality and conviction. We are thrilled that his leadership, character, and unwavering commitment to our students and athletic programs has been recognized.
